Delete your account and your data
Effective October 26, 2026EMBER Origin SAS
Article 1
Who is this page for?
This page explains how to delete your Ember account and your data, on the web, in the Ember apps for iPhone and Android, and for the data received from your connected apps (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Slack, etc.). Ember is published by EMBER ORIGIN SAS, 16 Place des Quinconces, 33000 Bordeaux, France. The details of our processing are in our Privacy Policy.
Article 2
Delete your account yourself
- Sign in to Ember at app.ember.do or in the mobile app.
- Open Settings, then Profile.
- Choose Delete account, then confirm.
- Deletion is immediate and permanent. It is refused as long as You are the last owner of a team or You own presentations or missions that are shared: transfer them or withdraw the sharing first.
- Before deleting your account, cancel your subscription paid by card (Settings, Subscription): deletion does not cancel it automatically. A subscription purchased in the iPhone app is canceled in your Apple account settings.
Article 3
Request deletion without opening Ember
Write to support@ember.do from your account’s email address, with the subject “Deletion of my account” or “Deletion of my data” (specifying, if You wish, only the data or apps concerned, for example Facebook or Instagram). If We have reasonable doubt about your identity, We may ask You for additional information. We delete the data and confirm it to You by email within one month at most.
Article 4
Delete only some data
- A conversation: delete it in the Second Brain. It disappears from your account with its attached files; its technical history stays in the Second Brain engine until the next step.
- All your memory and all your conversations: Settings, Memory, Delete everything.
- A meeting, a presentation, a file or a mission: delete it in the relevant module. Presentations and projects moved to the trash are erased after 30 days.
- Your Ember Community profile: withdrawing it hides it from new members; to erase it, write to us or delete your account.
- A sharing link: withdraw the sharing from the shared content.
Article 5
Cut off a connected app’s access
- In Ember: Settings, Integrations, then Disconnect next to the app. Access is cut off immediately and the connection is deleted at Ember and at Composio, our technical connector.
- Google: You can also remove access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The “Open with”, then Google Drive, connection does not appear in Settings: cut it on that Google page, or write to support@ember.do and We will delete it.
- Facebook: Settings and privacy, Settings, Business integrations. Instagram: Settings, Apps and websites. The app may appear there under the name Composio.
- Microsoft (OneDrive): the “Open with”, then OneDrive, connection does not appear in Settings; write to support@ember.do and Ember will erase its tokens. As Microsoft does not allow Ember to remove the authorization, remove it at https://myaccount.microsoft.com/organizations (work account) or https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/app-access (personal account).
- Content already read in an app is stored in the conversation in which You requested it: it is deleted with it, as described in Article 4.
Article 6
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleting the account immediately erases your profile, your conversations, your memory, your files, your presentations, your folders, your meetings and transcripts, your prospecting missions, your Ember Community profile and exchanges, your signatures and your login logs; your connected apps are disconnected. Kept: your invoices and payment data for 10 years (legal obligation), a record of the deletion to prove it, and the data needed for an ongoing dispute. Some data already passed to providers (PostHog usage measurement, Dub referral, Brevo workshop registrations, technical traces) is not erased automatically: We delete it on simple request. No data received from Facebook or Instagram is kept outside your conversations. The details are in Article 10 of the Privacy Policy.
