Connect HubSpot to Ember
Ember is an AI business assistant. Once HubSpot is connected, you can ask Ember's Second Brain questions about your contacts, companies and deals in plain language. The connection is read-only.
What you need
- An Ember account. Create one at app.ember.do.
- A HubSpot user who is allowed to install apps in your HubSpot account.
Install the app and connect your HubSpot account
- Sign in to Ember at app.ember.do.
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- On the HubSpot card, click Connect.
- Sign in to HubSpot if asked, and choose the HubSpot account to connect.
- Review the permissions screen. Ember asks to read your contacts, companies and deals. It never asks to write.
- Click Connect app. You return to Ember, and the HubSpot card shows Connected.
Configure
There is nothing to configure. Ember reads only what the HubSpot user who connected can see in HubSpot.
Use it
Ask the Second Brain, for example:
- Which deals are stuck in the proposal stage?
- What do we know about [company name]?
- Show my open deals over 10,000 euros.
Ember searches HubSpot when you ask and answers with the records it used. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in HubSpot, and it does not synchronize your CRM in the background.
Disconnect
In Ember, go to Settings, Integrations, HubSpot, then Disconnect. Ember stops all access immediately and deletes the connection at Ember and at its connection provider Composio. Your HubSpot data is not changed. Records already quoted in an Ember conversation stay in that conversation until you delete it.
Uninstall from HubSpot
In HubSpot, open Connected apps and uninstall Ember. Deleting your Ember account also disconnects HubSpot.
